IOWA CITY, Iowa – Iowa City West Football fell behind early but finished strong Friday night in knocking off Dubuque Hempstead, 38-24, here at Trojan Field. The victors advanced to meet Pleasant Valley in next week’s quarterfinals.

West twice trailed by seven points in the first half before the teams headed into halftime tied at 17-17. The Trojans two fourth-quarter touchdowns sealed the deal.
