In an odd prep football season shortened to seven regular season games, and in some instances even fewer by the coronavirus pandemic much of the discussion has centered around what has been missing this season.
In addition to a couple of regular season games some things missing from Friday nights this season have been huge crowds, pre-game celebrations and post-game handshakes and hugs.
One thing that did return during an unprecedented season was Mississippi Valley Conference football and now MVC post-season honors are back.
Without district games in 4A this season the MVC conference announced its postseason honors on Monday with City High, West High and Liberty High all with players earning recognition.
