Liberty High climbed one spot in the most recent volleyball rankings released by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union on Monday.

Liberty High (9-2) moved up once spot to sixth in the Class 5A rankings, trailing top-ranked West Des Moines Dowling, Ankeny, Cedar Falls, Pleasant Valley and West Des Moines Valley.

Clear Creek Amana (20-4) and West Branch (15-7) each dropped in the rankings.

West Branch slipped one spot to No. 14 in Class 2A while Clear Creek Amana dropped two spots to No. 11 in Class 4A.

Other top-ranked teams this week include Cedar Rapids Xavier (4A), Osage (3A), Western Christian (2A) and Janesville (1A).
