The Solon girls cross country team joined the Spartan boys team in the top-five of the most recent Class 3A rankings released on Wednesday by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches.

Solon climbed two spots to fifth in the latest rankings, joining the Solon boys team which is also fifth in the 3A rankings.

Regina held its spot in the Class 1A girls rankings remaining third for the second consecutive week.

Liberty High is No. 10 in the Class 4A boys rankings while Clear Creek Amana is No. 13 in the 3A rankings.

Liberty High senior Jack Kinzer is No. 12 in the 4A boys individual rankings while Clear Creek Amana senior Brandon Barker is up to seventh in the 3A individual rankings and Solon junior Gabe Hinman is 28^th in 3A.

Liberty High has a pair of runners in the Class 4A girls individual rankings as junior Ashlyn Keeney is fourth and freshman Cori Mac is No. 30.

In the Class 3A rankings Solon senior Kiersten Conway is 20^th and Clear Creek Amana sophomore Haidyn Barker is 26^th.

Regina has a pair of ranked runners in Class 1A led by senior Annalee Bartels who is fifth. Sophomore Mya Whitaker is 30^th.
