Regina remained third in Class A in the most recent Associated Press football poll released on Monday.

The Regals have won four straight games following a season-opening loss to Class 4A fifth-ranked Pleasant Valley and trail only top-ranked Grundy Center and second-ranked Saint Ansgar in the Class A rankings.

West High (2-0) dropped one spot from seventh to eighth in the Class 4A poll. The Trojans will travel to ninth-ranked Dubuque Senior (3-2) on Thursday in its first action since September 4.

Solon is receiving votes in the Class 2A poll and hosts fifth-ranked Mount Vernon this Friday.

Other top-ranked teams in the poll this week are Southeast Polk (4A), Cedar Rapids Xavier (3A), Williamsburg (2A); OABCIG (1A) and Don Bosco and Audubon share the top spot in eight-player.
