The Solon boys cross country team continued its climb in the Class 3A rankings moving up one spot for the second week in a row in the latest rankings released Wednesday by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches.

Solon moved up one spot to fourth in the latest rankings and trails just top-ranked Dallas Center-Grimes, Pella and North Polk in Class 3A.

Defending 3A runner-up Clear Creek Amana is No. 13 in the Class 3A rankings.

In the girls rankings Regina moved up one spot to third in Class 1A behind top-ranked Hudson and No. 2 Pekin.

Solon remained seventh in the Class 3A girls rankings.

Solon has a pair of runners in the Class 3A individual rankings led by senior Kiersten Conway who is 20^th while sophomore Mary Fiala entered the rankings this week at No. 29.

Clear Creek Amana sophomore Haidyn Barker is 25^th in the 3A rankings.

Regina senior Annalee Bartels is fifth in the Class 1A rankings.

In the boys rankings this week Clear Creek Amana senior Brandon Barker is No. 9 in Class 3A.
