It was a good day on all fronts for the Clear Creek Amana boys cross country team on Thursday.

Brandon Barker won the individual title, the Clippers put four runners in the top 15 and cruised to the team title at the Cascade Invitational at Fillmore Fairways Golf Course in Cascade.

Barker won the individual title in 17:10.7, finishing more than 12 seconds in front of runner-up Nathan Munshower of Dubuque Wahlert.
The title from Barker along with top-15 finishes from junior Gavin Zillyette, freshman Noah Yost and sophomore Peyton Stadler helped Class 3A No. 12 Clear Creek Amana pull away from a field that featured five ranked teams.

Clear Creek Amana won the team title with 48 points, 19 in front of Class 3A eighth-ranked Dubuque Wahlert.

Class 1A third-ranked Maquoketa Valley was third with 88 followed by 3A No. 13 Monticello with 89 and 1A eighth-ranked Cascade with 110. Regina was eighth with 187 points.

Zilleytte placed fourth for Clear Creek Amana in 17:51.4 while Yost was 11^th in 18:33.2 and Stadler was right behind in 12^th in a time of 18:42.7.

Dan Maley placed 17^th in a time of 19:08.4 to lead Regina.
