Haidyn Barker raced to a runner-up individual finish to help Clear Creek Amana finish in the top five as a team at the Benton Community Invitational on Saturday morning at the Williamsburg Sports Complex.

Barker finished runner-up in 20:33.2, cross the finish line less than three seconds behind individual champion Bethany Smeed of Cedar Rapids Kennedy.

The Clear Creek Amana sophomore edged Benton Community freshman Jaida Lyons be less than one second to finish runner-up.

Teammate Kayla Jiras placed 18^th as Clear Creek Amna finished fifth in the team standings with 111 points.

Class 2A second-ranked Williamsburg won the team title with 53 points followed by Cedar Rapids Kennedy with 64 and 3A eighth-ranked Mount Vernon-Lisbon with 69.

Sophomore Avery Allan was 26^th for Clear Creek Amana in 23:11 and junior Allie Kounkel was 28^th in 23:22.1.
