Clear Creek Amana has climbed two spots in the most recent Class 4A volleyball rankings released by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.

The Clippers improved to 5-1 on the season with a sweep of Benton Community on Tuesday and moved up to seventh in the Class 4A rankings released on Thursday.

Clear Creek Amana joins third-ranked Marion and No. 8 West Delaware as WAMAC squads in the 4A top 10.

Liberty High (1-1) dropped five spots to seventh in the latest 5A rankings while West Branch (5-2) remained at No. 14 in the Class 2A rankings.

Top-ranked teams this week are Cedar Falls (5A), Cedar Rapids Xavier (4A), Mount Vernon (3A), Western Christian (2A) and Fort Madison Holy Trinity.
