Ainsley Schrock had been a part of a lot during her five years as a regular in the Clear Creek Amana lineup.

One thing Schrock had never experienced during her prep career was a winning season.

Schrock changed that this summer by leading the Clippers to a 14-10 record with the best season of her career.

On Wednesday Schrock was rewarded for her efforts earning first-team all-WAMAC West Division honors when the conference announced its postseason awards.

The senior catcher hit .419 and led Clear Creek Amana in hits (31), doubles (7), home runs (6), walks (12) and RBI (37) while earning first-team all-West Division honors for the second time.

Schrock was joined on the West Division first team by senior pitcher Raina Henze and junior Gabrielle Bedford.

Both Bedford and Henze were first-time first team selections.

Bedford was a first-team utility selection after hitting a team-high .429 with four home runs and 25 RBI and scoring a team-best 23 runs.

Henze earned first-team honors after posting an 11-3 record and 1.49 ERA while striking gout 41 and walking 16 in 93 2/3 innings.

Sophomore Bailey Olerich was a second-team pick for the Clippers while senior Cheyeanne Bunch and junior Grace Bedford were both honorable mention picks.

Solon had four players earn all-East Division honors.

Junior outfielder Monet Barnhouse was named to the East Division first team after hitting .426 with seven extra-base hits and 24 RBI. Barnhouse stole 11 bases and scored 26 runs.

Freshman Hilary Wilson was a second-team East Division selection and senior Jadyn Jeter and sophomore Jada Buffington were both honorable mention picks for the Spartans.
