Clear Creek Amana had a four-game winning streak come to an end with a 6-2 loss to Class 5A No. 15 Cedar Rapids Prairie on Wednesday in the regular season finale for both teams in Cedar Rapids.
Clear Creek Amana dropped to 14-9 on the season with the loss while Prairie closes the regular season 12-7.
Raina Henze took the loss for the Clippers allowing six runs, three earned, on 10 hits while striking out two and walking one in six innings.
Avery Alan went 2-for-3 with a double to lead Clear Creek Amana while Grace Bedford had a hit and scored a run and Gabrielle Bedford, Cheyanne Bunch and Bailey Oelrich all added hits for the Clippers.
