Class 3A seventh-ranked West Liberty scored three runs in the opening inning on its way to a 10-0 win over Regina in a River Valley Conference South Division contest on Saturday in West Liberty.

West Liberty improved to 12-1 on the season and 10-1 in RVC play with its seventh consecutive win while Regina closed the regular season 7-13.

Elly Gahan, Kate Milder and Abby Clark all had singles for Regina.

Emma Nibaur took the loss for Regina allowing six runs on six hits while striking out four in four innings.
