Class 4A No. 15 Clear Creek Amana got all three in an upset of Class 3A fourth-ranked Williamsburg on Wednesday.
Raina Henze tossed a four-hit shutout, Gabrielle Bedford provided the offense with a two-out sixth-inning homer and the Clippers played errorless defense in a 1-0 win over Williamsburg in game one of a WAMAC West Division doubleheader in Williamsburg.
Williamsburg used a seven-run fourth inning to secure a 12-3 win in the nightcap as the Raiders improved to 13-3 on the season after having a seven-game winning streak snapped with the loss in the opener.
Clear Creek Amana moved to 9-5 on the season.
Henze allowed just four singles in the opener, striking out one without walking a batter in the complete game.
The senior right-hander needed just 70 pitches to navigate the complete game.
Bedford provided all the offense the Clippers would need with her sixth-inning homer off Williamsburg ace Peyton Driscoll.
Ainsley Schrock and Grace Bedford each added hits for the Clippers in game one.
Gabrielle Bedford had two hits and drove in three runs in the nightcap while Grace Bedford added two hits.
Bailey Oelrich had a hit and scored a run while Cheyanne Bunch had a hit, drew a walk and scored twice in game two.
Reese Stockman also had a hit in the nightcap.
