How did you get involved in sports?: My older brother was always so busy trying different sports, and I wanted to be just like him.
Favorite moment from athletics: Making the state basketball tournament for basketball
A person that has influenced you: I would say my brother has had the greatest influence on me because he made me a competitor. Growing up, he would push me to be better. We would do workouts together or drills for all the sports I played. He gave me the competitive edge and toughness that I have. He wouldn’t take it easy, and it benefited me in the long run.
Hobbies: I love to fish and go on runs while also making time for my friends and family.
Favorite class: I would say my favorite class would be Intro to Criminal Justice through Kirkwood. It was very interesting which kept me engaged in the course and it gave me an idea of what college classes would be like.
Favorite food: Pizza is my favorite food, hands down.
Favorite book: My favorite book is Oh, Places You’ll Go by Dr. Suess.
Favorite movie: My favorite movie is Tangled.
How are you spending time with school closed?: I’ve been working out, watching a ton of Netflix, and playing pickleball with my brother.
Future plans: Attend McCook Community College in McCook, Nebraska to further my academics and softball career with an undecided major.
