Sports/Activities: I am involved with football and track as an athlete and baseball as a player/manager.

How did you get involved in sports?: I’ve loved sports since I was a kid and I’ve always been around them

Favorite moment from athletics: My favorite moment was when my mom surprised me at the finish line at the state qualifying meet in Pella after I automatically qualified for state in the shuttle hurdle relay.

A person that has influenced you: My mom has probably been the greatest influence on me because she has always pushed me and expected me to be at the top of the class in school and that's made me want to succeed as best I can on the athletic side.

Hobbies: I love to watch movies and tv, along with cooking. My absolute favorite thing is to learn new useless trivia by watching and playing along with game shows like Jeopardy! Once I read them, I remember most of them and I love to learn new useless facts to share with other people.

Favorite class: My favorite classes that I've taken would have to be all classes with Mr. Muhlenbruck; Chemistry, Chem II, and Physics. I also loved American History with Mr. Schulte, Algebra II with Mrs. Astor, and my Kirkwood Nutrition class with Dr. Hench.

Favorite food: My favorite food would probably be prime rib.

Favorite book: My favorite book that I've read would the Green Mile. Currently slowly working through A Games of Thrones.

Favorite movie: Favorite movie would be Stepbrothers.

How are you spending time with school closed?: I am spending the majority of my time doing just about everything with my older brother, Rob. I watch a lot of tv, and am currently rewatching the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Future plans: I plan to attend the University of Iowa to double major in neuroscience and chemistry on the pre-med track to eventually become a neurosurgeon.
