Karsyn Stratton, Clear Creek Amana

Parents: Travis and Suzy Stratton  

Siblings: Cade, Kaylee and Kennedy Stratton 

Sports/Activities: Cross country, basketball, track and softball

How did you get involved in sports?: When I was a little girl I was involved in recreation sports, I fell in love with athletics, and ever since then I’ve been involved.

Favorite moment from athletics: This basketball season when we beat number two ranked Marion to advance to the state tournament for the first time in school history.

A person that has influenced you: My parents. I owe them a lot of credit for pushing me to be the best, supporting me in everything, and helping me to be the best version of myself.

Hobbies: I like to hang out with friends, workout and take naps. 

Favorite class: PE has always been the favorite. 

Favorite food: Bagels

Favorite book: My favorite books are the Hunger Games series.

Favorite movie: A Star is Born

How are you spending time with school closed?: Working out, shooting hoops, and watching a lot of Netflix.

Future plans: Will attend Kirkwood Community College and continue my basketball career
