Liberty High fell to Cedar Rapids Washington on Monday in a Mississippi Valley Conference cross-divisional matchup in North Liberty.

Cedar Rapids Washington improved to 4-16 with the win while Liberty High dropped to 9-11 on the season with its third consecutive loss.

Andre Brandon had 12 points to lead Liberty High while Ira Hazeltine had 11 points and Kelby Telander added nine.

Freshman Taijan Sain led three Cedar Rapids Washington players in double figures with a game-high 16 points while Campbell Mitvalsky had 15 and Riley Pankey added 12.
