Boys Basketball Roundup: Miller Pours in 44 to Lead Regina Past Anamosa in Regular Season Finale

In a senior season filled with impressive performances Masen Miller waited until his final home game to turn in perhaps his best effort yet.
Miller poured in a career-high 44 points to lead Regina to a 74-65 win over Anamosa on Friday in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional matchup in Iowa City.
Regina closed the regular season 15-6 and finished 13-6 in River Valley Conference play while Anamosa dropped to 4-16 and 4-15 in RVC play.
Miller had six of his nine 3-pointers in the first half helping Regina take a 41-23 halftime lead.
The senior point guard has scored 31 or more points in each of the last four games while averaging 37 points per game during that stretch.
Danny Molony added nine points and Coltrae Kerschen had six for the Regals on Friday.
Sam Wilt led Anamosa with 17 points while Nick Wagner and Seth Schoon each had 15 for the Blue Raiders.

Brauns Leads Fourth-ranked West High Past Liberty High
Even Brauns had a game-high 21 points to lead Class 4A fourth-ranked West High to a 47-38 win over Liberty High on Friday in a Mississippi Valley Conference matchup in Iowa City.
After being held to four points on just four field goal attempts in a win over Liberty High last month Brauns scored 13 points in the second half as West High broke open a six-point game.
Nick Pepin added 10 points as West High improved to 17-2 on the season while completing the season sweep of the Lightning.
Andre Brandon had 12 points and Ira Hazeltine added eight for Liberty High which dropped to 9-10 with its second straight loss.
