Girls Basketball Roundup: Regina Pushes Win Streak to Four With Win Over Mid-Prairie

Regina pushed its winning streak to four with a 46-34 win over Mid-Prairie on Tuesday in a River Valley Conference South Division contest in Iowa City.
The Regals improved to 11-4 and 10-4 in RVC play with their second victory in as many nights after defeating Anamosa 48-30 on Monday.
Annie Gahan had 18 points and Sam Greving had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds to lead Regina.
Freshman Grace Gaarde had seven points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals and Claire Gaarde had nine rebounds for the Regals.
Mid-Prairie dropped to 4-10 on the season and 4-9 in RVC play with its fourth straight loss.

Koch, Tellis Help West High Push Past Dubuque Wahlert
Audrey Koch scored a game-high 22 points and Matayia Tellis had 18 as West High downed Dubuque Wahlert 61-53 on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Division matchup in Iowa City.
West High improved to 8-6 with the win while Dubuque Wahlert dropped to 7-9 on the season.
Meena Tate added eight points and Jenna Saunders and Grace Schneider each had five in the win for West High.
Morgan Herrig led Dubuque Wahlert with 16 points while Emma Donovan added 13 and Mary Kate King had 10.

Class 5A top-ranked City High rolled to a 70-29 win over Dubuque Senior on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division matchup in Iowa City.
Aubrey Joens poured in a game-high 20 points and Rose Nkumu had 17 points, five rebounds and five steals as City High improved to 13-0 on the season.
Dubuque Senior dropped to 6-9 with the loss.
Paige Rocca added 10 points, six rebounds and four assists and Kelsey Joens had eight points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Ella Cook had four points and five rebounds for City High.
Kayla Grall led Dubuque Senior with 10 points.

Liberty High Falls to Dubuque Hempstead
Liberty High fell into a 14-point halftime deficit and could never dig itself out falling to Dubuque Hempstead 65-48 on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Division matchup in North Liberty.
The win was the fourth straight for Dubuque Hempstead and improved the Mustangs to 8-7 on the season while Liberty High dropped to 1-13.
Freshman Keiko Ono-Fullard led Liberty high with 16 points, five rebounds and five steals while Sam McPherson added 13 points and four rebounds.
Haley Napoli had 10 points and five rebounds and Kennedy Daugherty had five points and six boards.
