Boys Basketball Roundup: Big First Half From Miller Leads Regina Past Wilton

Masen Miller poured in 33 points to lead Class 2A No. 9 Regina to a 76-52 win over Wilton on Tuesday in a River Valley Conference South Division matchup in Iowa City.
Miller had 29 of his 33 points in the first half as Regina completed the season sweep of the Beavers and improved to 9-2 on the season and in RVC play.
Wilton dropped to 3-11 and 1-11 in conference play.
Chase Becker added 10 points, Danny Molony had eight and Andrew Wiese six as 10 Regals scored in the win.

Liberty High Holds Off Linn-Mar
Liberty High scored 33 second-half points to erase a two-point halftime deficit on its way to a 51-46 win over Linn-Mar on Tuesday in North Liberty.
Basil Aldoss had a team-high 16 points as Liberty High improved to 6-3 on the season while Linn-Mar dropped to 4-5 with its second loss in as many nights.
Ethan O’Donnell and Ben Houselog each had nine points for the Lightning while Andre Brandon had seven and Ira Hazeltine added six.

Williamsburg Edges Clear Creek Amana
When rivals Clear Creek Amana and Williamsburg get together the game always seems to come down to the wire.
That was the case for the second time this month on Tuesday and this time it was the Raiders that got the big basket late.
Williamsburg scored on a putback as time expired to edge Clear Creek Amana 51-50 in a WAMAC West Division showdown in Williamsburg.
The win was the five straight for the Raiders and avenged a 58-56 loss at Clear Creek Amana back on January 3.
Williamsburg moved to 7-5 with the win and 6-5 in WAMAC play while Clear Creek Amana dropped to 8-4 and 7-4 in WAMAC contests.
Tyler Schrepfer led Clear Creek Amana with 12 points while Nick O’Connor added 11 points and Christian Withrow had 10 points and five assists.

Cedar Falls Too Much For City High
Class 4A fourth-ranked Cedar Falls bolted to an 18-4 lead after the opening quarter on its way to a 58-37 win over City High on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference matchup in Iowa City.
City High dropped to 5-4 with the loss while Cedar Falls improved to 8-1 with its eighth straight win.
Kolby Kucera led City High with seven points and three rebounds while Kaleba Jack had five points and three rebounds.
Jamari Newson had four points and four rebounds and Byron Benton had three rebounds, two assists and three steals for the Little Hawks.
