Class 2A top-ranked Cascade outscored fifth-ranked West Branch 22-6 in the fourth quarter on its way to a 61-50 win over the Bears in a top-five showdown in West Branch.

The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for West Branch which dropped to 4-2 on the season and 4-1 in River Valley Conference play.

Cascade improved to 5-0 on the season and in RVC games.

Rylan Druecker led West Branch with 15 points, seven rebounds and two assists while Sasha Koenig added 12 points and six assists.

Taylor Thein had 12 points and two steals and Taya Young had five points, four rebounds and two steals.

Kaiya Luneckas had 11 rebounds and two assists for West Branch.
