Boys Basketball Roundup: Lesan Gets First Win at Solon

Matt Lesan was part of a lot of wins during his playing career at Solon.
On Tuesday Lesan picked up career win number one as the Spartans’ head coach.
Solon erased a two-point halftime deficit with a 16-point third quarter on its way to a 62-50 win over Independence in a WAMAC Conference cross-divisional matchup in Independence.
David Bluder led Solon with 14 points while Carson Shive added 10 and Ben Cusick eight as Solon improved to 1-1 on the season.
Brady Jeworrek had seven points and Cam Miller and Kinnick Pusteoska each had six points for the Spartans.
Independence dropped to 1-2 with the loss.

Miller Lifts Regina Past Mid-Prairie
Masen Miller poured in 35 points as Regina remained unbeaten with a 61-48 win over Mid-Prairie in a River Valley Conference South Division matchup in Wellman.
Regina improved to 3-0 with the win while Mid-Prairie dropped to 1-2 on the season.
