Sasha Koenig came two assists from a triple-double as West Branch rolled to a 70-36 win over Durant in its home opener on Tuesday in West Branch.

Koenig poured in a game-high 27 points and added 10 steals and eight assists as West Branch improved to 1-1 on the season and moved to 1-0 in River Valley Conference play.

Mackenzie Heise added 12 points, six rebounds and four steals for West Branch while Delaynie Luneckas had 10 points and six rebounds.

Rylan Drueker had eight points, seven rebounds and three steals for the Bears.

Regina Downs Tipton in Season Opener

Annie Gahan led three players in double figures with 22 points as Regina rolled to a 47-34 win over Tipton in its season opener on Tuesday in Tipton.

Sam Greving added 11 points and Elly Gahan had 10 as Regina moved to 1-0 in River Valley Conference play.
