City High senior Reese Hayden finished in a four-way tie for 62nd at the Class 4A state golf tournament on Saturday at the Tournament Club of Iowa in Polk City.

Hayden shot an opening round 87 and carded a 94 on Saturday to finish tied with three other golfers with a two-day score of 181.

Linn-Mar junior Dillon Burr fired back-to-back two-over-par rounds of 73 to finish with a 146 and won the individual title by six strokes over Nile Petersen of Cedar Rapids Washington and Pleasant Valley junior Jake Roemer.

Waukee shot a two-day 649 to edge West Des Moines Valley by one stroke for the team title while Southeast Polk and Pleasant Valley each shot a 654.
