Solon had three runners finish in the top 15 on its way to a third-place team finish at the Williamsburg Invitational on Tuesday at the Williamsburg Sports Complex.

Emma Bock placed 12th to lead Class 3A ninth-ranked Solon as the Spartans finished behind the top two ranked teams in Class 2A.

Class 2A top-ranked Mid-Prairie won the team title with 35 points while 2A No. 2 Williamsburg was second with 50 points followed by Solon with 82.

Center Point-Urbana was fourth with 109 points while Tipton was fifth with 129.

Bock was 12th in 21:27 while Kiersten Conway was 14th in 21:29 and Mary Fiala was 15th in 21:29.

Meghan O’Neil placed 19th in 22:20 for the Spartans.

Solon Fourth at Williamsburg Invitational

Gabe Hinman placed seventh to lead Solon to a fourth-place team finish at the Williamsburg Invitational on Tuesday at the Williamsburg Sports Complex.

Hinman was seventh in a time of 17:57 as Solon finished with 102 points.

Class 2A top-ranked Tipton won the team title with 30 points followed by Center Point-Urbana with 53 points and Williamsburg with 82 points.

Ben DeValk was 17th in a time of 18:48 while Tyler Bilskie was 24th in a 19:29 for the Spartans.
