Defending Class 2A state champion West High went unbeaten on its way to a Mississippi Valley Conference title this spring.

On Friday the Women of Troy rewarded for their conference domination.

West High swept the MVC Valley Division player and coach of the year awards and had all six of its regular varsity players earn all-division honors when the conference announced its postseason awards.

Junior Jessica Moonjely was named Valley Division player of the year and a unanimous first-team selection while West High head coach Amie Villarini was named divisional coach of the year.

Sophomore Audrey Koch joined Moonjely as a unanimous first-team pick while freshman Caroline Mascardo was also named to the Valley Division first team.

Sophomore Caroline Chandler was named to the Valley Division second team while junior Natalie Katz and senior Vivian Mitchell were both honorable mention selections.

City High junior Caroline Carter was named to the Mississippi Division first team while junior Kelsey Law was a second-team pick for the Little Hawks.

Abigail McCormick and Irene Samuelson were both named to the Mississippi Division honorable mention list for City High while Liberty High juniors Grace Brusegaard and Sushma Santhana were honorable mention picks in the Valley Division.
