Neely Maurus fired a 38 to lead Liberty High to a runner-up finish at a Mississippi Valley conference quadrangular on Thursday at Brown Deer Golf Course in Coralville.

Dubuque Hemsptead won the team title with a 189 while Liberty High was second with a 193 followed by Cedar Rapids Xavier with a 195.

Maurus and Cedar Rapids Xavier’s Ellie Braksiek each carded a 38 to tie for the low round on Thursday.

Grace Crimmins shot a 50 for Liberty High while Cassidy Sundine fired a 52.

City High fired a season-best 193 on its way to a third-place finish at a Mississippi Valley Conference quadrangular on Thursday at Irv Warren Golf Course in Waterloo.

Linn-Mar won the team title with a 172 followed by Dubuque Senior with a 182.

Emily Knoche fired a 46 to lead three Little Hawks that broke 50 on Thursday.

Kaylee Paulsen shot a 48 and April Wilson carded a 49 for the Little Hawks.

Solon shot a season-low 187 to down West Delaware by 18 strokes on Thursday in a WAMAC Conference dual meet at Lake Macbride Golf Course.

Leah Woessner fired a career-best 41 to lead Solon to its lowest team score in four seasons.

Reegan Helle fired a 45, and Katlyn Jeter shot a 48 for Solon on a rainy and windy afternoon in Solon.
