Golf Roundup: West Branch Wins Wildcat Invitational

West Branch had four players finish in the top 10 on its way to winning the team title at the 10-team Wildcat Invitational on Tuesday at Wahkonsa Country Club in Durant.
Each of the top four West Branch golfers broke 80 on Tuesday as the Bears shot a 317 to outdistance runner-up Wilton by 16 strokes.
Mid-Prairie was third with 334 followed by Tipton with 340 and Winfield-Mount Union with a 346. Regina was ninth with a 403.
Brady Lukavsky, Dylan Countryman and Ted Bridges all fired a 79 for West Branch to finish sixth, eighth and ninth respective.
Kaleb Sexton was a shot back, placing 10th with an 80.
Brock Hartley of Wilton won the individual title with a 75 while teammate Jared Townsend was runner-up with a 76.
