Liberty High won six events on its way to a third-place finish at the Saber Relays on Monday at Central DeWitt.

Tayshaun McGee won the 400 in 54.91 and Christian Montover added a title in the 3,200 in 10:35.84 as Liberty High rolled up 114 points.

Tipton won the team title with 122 points, three in front of runner-up Central DeWitt while Regina finished tied for fourth with 54 points.

Liberty High won the 4×100, 4×400, sprint medley and distance medley relays on its way to a third-place finish.

Luke Stein swept the throwing events and Theo Kolie won the long jump to pace Regina.

Stein won the discus with a toss of 147-3 ½ and earned the shot put title with a mark of 48-4.

Kolie won the long jump with a leap of 20-1 ½.
