Karsyn Stratton has gotten used to enduring the usual bumps and bruises that come with a three-month basketball season.
This season Stratton had to deal with a few more serious injuries this winter but none of that was enough to slow down the Clear Creek Amana junior.
Stratton averaged a WAMAC Conference-leading 19.6 per game despite battling a series of injuries on her way to being a unanimous WAMAC West Division first team selection for the third consecutive season.
Injuries forced Stratton to miss a pair of games but she still led the Clippers in scoring, assists (2) and steals (2.7) and ranked second on the team with 6.5 rebounds per game.
The 5-foot-8 guard was a unanimous West Division first-team pick for the second straight season and headlined a group of five Clippers honored when the WAMAC announced its postseason awards on Thursday.
Junior Meagen Harvey and freshman Calia Clubb were both named to the West Division second team while senior Jordan Neely and sophomore Whitney Traetow were both honorable mention selections.
Harvey averaged 7.6 points and 3 rebounds per game while Clubb averaged 5.3 points and a team-leading 8.2 rebounds.
Solon had a pair of players earn honorable mention honors in the East Division.
Freshman Makinley Levin and junior Jenna LaDage were both honorable mention East Division honorees for the Spartans.
