Clear Creek Amana ended the unbeaten start to the season for West Branch handing the Bears their first loss with a 51-46 win on Saturday in a non-conference matchup in Tiffin.
Tyler Schrepfer had a game-high 18 points as Clear Creek Amana improved to 4-2 on the season.
Christian Withrow added nine points and Nick O’Connor had seven for the Clippers while Nolan Schwarting had six points and TJ Bollers finished with five.
Ted Bridges had 13 points and seven rebounds to lead West Branch as the Bears dropped to 7-1 on the season.

Fairfield outscored Liberty High 10-6 in overtime to escape with a 57-53 win over the Lightning in a non-conference contest in Fairfield.
Andre Brandon led Liberty High with 24 points while Sam Funke added 13 points and Grayson Tyler had six.
Tristin Waugh had 19 points and Austin Simpson and Collin Breen each had 12.
