Liberty High bounced back quickly from its first loss of the season on Friday to earn a 58-51 overtime win over Center Point-Urbana on Saturday in a non-conference contest in Center Point.

The Lightning rallied from a five-point deficit in the final two minutes to force overtime where it outscored the Stormin’ Pointers 12-5 after trailing by two points early in the extra frame.

Ethan O’Donnell led Liberty High with 16 points while Andre Brandon added 15 as the Lightning improved to 2-1 on the season.

Grayson Tyler chipped in with nine and Ben Houselog added eight points.

Brandon Moore led Center Point-Urbana with 14 points.
