A meeting with rival Williamsburg proved to be the perfect remedy for a Clear Creek Amana WAMAC losing streak.
Class 4A No. 14 Clear Creek Amana snapped a two-game WAMAC West skid with a 25-21, 25-10, 25-23 sweep of Williamsburg on Tuesday in Tiffin.
Calia Clubb had 10 kills and Shauntina Williams had nine as Clear Creek Amana improved to 18-10 in the season and 3-2 in WAMAC West play.
Williamsburg dropped to 12-13 and 2-4 in WAMAC West play with the loss.
Hailey Pollock had six kills, Lauren Riggle had five and Amelia Pereira had four in a balanced Clipper attack.
Cheyaenne Bunch had 32 assists while Jordan Neely had 13 digs and Riggle had 12 digs.
City High Rallies For Five-Set Win at Western Dubuque
When City High and Western Dubuque met at the Little Hawk Invitational last month the two teams needed a decisive third set to determine a winner.

City High improved to 14-8 on the season and moved to 5-1 in Mississippi Division play with the win while Western Dubuque dropped to 9-13 and 3-3 in conference matches.
Mackenzie Murphy had a career-high 21 kills and added 11 digs and eight blocks in the win.
Ellie Evans had 13 kills and a team-high 24 digs while Kelsey Law added 10 kills and Mia Loughran had nine kills and eight digs.
Makayla Ribble had 28 assists and 16 digs and Brooke Bormann had 15 digs for the Little Hawks.
Lindsey Bolton had 28 assists to eclipse the 1,000-assist mark for her career.
Liberty High Drops 5-Setter to Dubuque Hempstead
Liberty High won the opening two sets but couldn’t close out the match falling to Dubuque Hempstead 18-25, 19-25, 25-22, 25-18, 15-6 in a Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Division matchup on Tuesday in Dubuque.
Lee Ann Potter led Liberty High with 17 kills and 24 digs while Oliva Slattery added 12 kills.
Sydney Woods had seven kills and 10 digs and Addie Schmierer had 18 digs while Hailey Hested had a team-high 36 assists.
Class 4A No. 12 Liberty High dropped to 12-10 on the season and 2-4 in MVC play while Dubuque Hempstead improved to 9-12 and 3-2 in Valley Division matches.
