West High won nine of 12 events on its way to a 113-72 win over Cedar Falls in a Mississippi Valley Conference dual on Tuesday at the Coralville Recreation Center.

Aurora Roghair and Scarlet Martin each won a pair of individual titles and the Women of Troy won all three relay titles in the dual win.

Roghair won the 200 and 500 freestyle while Martin won the 100 freestyle and 200 IM to pace West High.

Martin and Roghair each were members of the West High winning 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams.

Lily Ernst added a title in the 100 butterfly and Jenny Geng won the 200 breaststroke for West High which also won a title in the 200 freestyle relay.

Cedar Rapids Washington Edges City High

City High won eight events but Cedar Rapids Washington edged the Little Hawks 94-92 in a Mississippi Valley Conference dual on Tuesday at Mercer Park Aquatic Center in Cedar Rapids.

Three different Little Hawks won two events and City High claimed titles in both the 200 medley and 200 freestyle but it wasn’t enough to overcome the balanced effort of Cedar Rapids Washington.

Carly Weigel won the 200 IM and 100 backstroke for City High while Trinity Sadecky added titles in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly.

Olivia Masterson won the 100 freestyle and 100 breaststroke for the Little Hawks.
