West High senior Kyle Spence fired a two-over-par 74 to place fourth at the Sixth Annual Trojan Blue Top Ridge Golf Invitational on Monday at Blue Top Ridge Golf Resort in Riverside.

The fourth-place finish by Spence helped West High place seventh as a team at the 10-team meet with a 365.

Liberty High placed eighth with a 374 while Pleasant Valley won the team title with a 311.

Spence shot a two-under-par 74 on the front nine, recording birdies on the par-four first and ninth holes.

He had two birdies on the back nine while finishing one stroke behind individual champion Jack Roemer of Pleasant Valley.

Spence joined Pleasant Valley’s Jack Dumas and Nick Pittman from Johnston in shooting a 74.

Caleb Kirk added a 92 for West High while Andrew Tauchen shot a 94 for the Trojans.

Liberty High was led by Connor Roach who shot a 90 while AJ Meyer added a 93 and Shane Alberts shot a 94.
