Lauren Gaarde wrapped up an impressive prep soccer career last month with 67 career goals and 25 assists.

On Wednesday Gaarde added another achievement to her list of career achievements.

Gaarde was named an honorable mention Class 1A all-state selection by the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association when the organization released its postseason honors on Wednesday.

The senior forward scored a team-high 17 goals and added four assists to help Regina reach the state semifinals for the third time in four seasons.

Gaarde added four assists while leading Regina to an 11-8 record.
