Solon put the finishing touches on an impressive weekend at its own tournament on Saturday.

Class 3A No. 10 Solon downed Des Moines Lincoln 12-0 in five innings in its final game at the Solon Classic to finish 3-0 at the two-day event.

Seven different Spartans had a hit as Solon pounded out 11 hits while improving to 18-5 on the season with its seventh consecutive win.

Taylor Ryan, Jadyn Jeter, Ava Stebral and Madison Rogers all had two hits to lead Solon.

Rogers was 2-for-3 with five RBI and Ryan was 2-for-2, scored three runs and drove in a run.

Jeter had two hits and drove in two runs while Ava Stebral was 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI.

Skylar Stookey had a hit, scored twice and drove in two runs and Taylor Moore had two RBI.

Kayla West picked up the win allowing one hit and striking out one in two innings.

Peyton Sands worked two hitless innings of relief.

Des Moines Lincoln dropped to 3-27 with the loss.
