Softball Roundup: Regina Falls to 4A No. 2 Carlisle on Day One of Clipper Classic

Regina fell to Class 4A second-ranked Carlisle 12-2 in five innings on the opening day of the Clipper Classic Friday in Oxford.
The win was the 15th straight for Carlisle which improved to 23-4 on the season while Class 2A eighth-ranked Regina dropped to 15-11 with the loss.
Jess Hunter, Elly Gahan and Emma Nibaur all had hits for the Regals.
Taylor O’Conner and Annie Gahan each scored a run while Nibaur drove in a run in the loss.
Katie Bracken took the loss for Regina allowing 10 runs, four earned, on eight hits in four innings.
