Softball Roundup: Regina Snaps Skid With Win Over Cascade

Regina got back in the win column on Monday with a 7-3 win over Cascade in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional matchup in Iowa City.
Class 2A seventh-ranked Regina snapped a three-game losing skid and improved to 14-10 on the season and 10-1 in RVC play with the win.
Cascade dropped to 10-11 on the season and 5-8 in conference action.
Jess Hunter had a hit, stole four bases and scored three runs to lead the Regina attack while Carrigan O’Conner had a hit, scored twice and drove in a run.
Katie Bracken and Paisley Gardner each had a hit and drove in a run while Taylor O’Conner had an RBI for the Regals.
Bracken earned the win allowing three unearned runs on four hits while striking out 12.
