West High Puts Three on MVC Mississippi Division First Team

West High won the Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Valley Division title with an unbeaten record.
Now the Trojans are reaping the rewards.
West High put three players on the MVC Mississippi Division first team and head coach Mitch Gross earned coach of the year honors when the conference announced its postseason awards.
Junior Sam Shin was a unanimous first-team selection and was joined on the first team by juniors Sasha Chackalackal and Jack Wenzel.
Freshman Eli Young was named to the Mississippi Division second team while senior Brad DiLeo and freshman Mukundan Kasturirangan were both honorable mention selections.
Junior Kahleb Fallon and sophomore Billy Samuelson were both honorable mention picks for City High in the Valley Division.
