Clear Creek Amana won four events and set a pair of school records on its way to winning the team title at its own Pacha Relays on Thursday in Tiffin.
Nick Gerard won the long jump with a school-record leap of 22-4 ½, Jack Sexton won the 1,600 in 4:44.73 and Seb Johanson claimed the 110 hurdle title in 15.44 as Clear Creek Amana finished 43 points in front of Mount Vernon for the team title.
Benton was third with 100 points followed by Solon with 68 and Tipton with 67. Regina was eighth with 47 points.
Clear Creek Amana added a win in the shuttle hurdle and the Clippers’ sprint medley relay team of Matt Brimeyer, Alex Figueroa, Harrison Cory and Darius Moore finished runner-up in a school-record time of 1:37.97.
Solon seanior Luke Schaeckenbach won the discus with a mark of 137-2 while Regina senior Cole White won the shot put with a toss of 48-10.

Clippers Third at Home Invite
Clear Creek Amana won a pair of individual titles and finish third at its home Pacha Relays on Thursday in Tiffin.
Karsyn Stratton won the long jump with a leap of 16-11 ½ and Cierra Lacina added a title in the 400 in 1:02.92 as the Clippers rolled up 124 points.
Williamsburg won the team title with 164 points while Mount Vernon was second with 148. Solon was fourth with 82 points followed by Regina with 72.
Regina won three events as Jaedynn Evans won the 100 in 13.17, Annie Gahan claimed the 400 hurdles in 1:11.44 and the Regals won the sprint medley relay in 1:55.74.
Abby Smith won the high jump by clearing 5-0 to pace Solon.
