Regina sophomore Mark Schomer shot an 82 to place sixth at the Wildcat Invitational on Tuesday at Wahkonsa Country Club in Durant.

Schomer fired a 39 on the back nine after a 43 on the opening nine to help Regina to a sixth-place team finish with a 352.

Tipton edged Wilton by two strokes for the team title with a 33 while Winfield-Mount Union was third with a 337.

West Branch had four players shoot better than 90 and finished fifth with a 347.

Ted Bridges led West Branch with an 84 while Brady Lukavsky and Trevor Thein each shot an 87 for the Bears.

Noah Schlabaugh of Mid-Prairie earned medalist honors with a 75.

West Branch Edges Liberty High

West Branch shot a 209 to edge Liberty High by three strokes in a non-conference dual meet at Brown Deer Golf Course in Coralville on Tuesday.

Aleah Rocha fired a 48 to earn medalist honors for West Branc while teammate Lauren Nalan shot a 50.

Neely Maurus led Liberty High with a 49 to earn medalist runner-up honors while Cassidy Sundine shot a 51 for the Lightning.
