Over the last month Ashley Joens has made the rounds in the all-state basketball circuit.

The latest all-star stop for the City High senior was a big one.

Joens took part in the Jordan Brand Classic on Sunday along with 23 of the other top players in the country at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.  

The Iowa State recruit scored four points and grabbed six rebounds in 16 minutes at the all-star event that showcases many of the best players from across the country.

Joens was 2-of-6 from the field and had a steal in the prestigious event.

Shakira Austin, a 6-foot-5 Maryland recruit had 18 points and 14 rebounds to lead the away team on which Joens played.

Joens’s squad lost the game 89-88.

Baylor recruit Honesty Scott-Grayson and Kentucky signee Rhyne Howard each had 13 points to lead the winning team.
