Less than 24 hours after scoring a school-record 45 points in a win over Waterloo East, Joens scored 34 to lift Class 5A top-ranked City High (19-0) to a 72-51 non-conference win at Moline (Illinois).
Joens had 14 of the Little Hawks 16 first-quarter points and scored 24 of her game-high 34 in the first half.
City High led 16-15 after one quarter but stretched the lead to 42-29 at the half and led 58-39 after three quarters.
It was the fifth straight 30-point scoring performance for Joens who has scored 30 or more nine times this season and leads the state in scoring at 30.7 points per game.
Aubrey Joens had 16 points and Rose Nkumu added 15 for the Little Hawks.
Moline dropped to 17-11 on the season.

Clear Creek Amana Edges Washington For Second Straight Win
Karsyn Stratton scored a game-high 26 points and Meagan Harvey added 10 to lead Clear Creek Amana to a 60-56 win over Washington in a non-conference contest on Saturday in Tiffin.
The win was the second straight for Clear Creek Amana and improved the Clippers to 11-8 on the season.
It was the third consecutive 20-point game for Stratton who scored 24 in a win over Independence on Friday.
Andrea Roller added eight points for Clear Creek Amana.
Sarah Nacos had 13 points and Addison Six added 12 for Washington (6-13).

Regina Keeps Rolling With Road Win at Cedar Rapids Kennedy
Regina ran its winning streak to a season-best six games with a 55-39 win over Cedar Rapids Kennedy on Saturday in a non-conference contest in Cedar Rapids.
Mary Crompton had a game-high 24 points and Alex Wiese scored 13 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as Class 2A seventh-ranked Regina improved to 17-4 on the season.
Regina led 26-25 at halftime and used a 12-2 run over the final five minutes of the third quarter to break the game open.
Wiese missed most of the first half with foul trouble but had all 13 of her points and rebounds after halftime as Regina put the game away.
Auddie Alepra had 11 points to lead Cedar Rapids Kennedy (10-9).

Liberty High Rallies Past West Delaware
Liberty High scored 28 fourth quarter points to rally for a 55-48 win over West Delaware on Saturday in North Liberty.
The win snapped a six-game losing skid for Liberty High and improved the Lightning to 6-12 on the season.
Cora Saunders had a team-high 21 points while Sam McPherson added 14 points for Liberty High.
