West High needed a win in the worst way.

The Women of Troy got what they were looking for on Tuesday in Dubuque.

West High snapped a four-game losing skid with an 83-33 win over Dubuque Senior in a Mississippi Valley Conference contest.

Class 5A ninth-ranked West High jumped to a 47-13 halftime lead and rolled to its first win since January 19.

Lauren Zacharias led five West High players in double figures with 15 points while Rachael Saunders, Emma Koch and Cailyn Morgan all scored 14.

Logan Cook scored 10 points was West High improved to 12-7 on the season and 9-2 in MVC play.

Alli Udelhofen scored a game-high 18 points to lead Dubuque Senior (6-13, 2-9 MVC).

Solon Halts Skid With Senior Night Win

Solon snapped a six-game losing skid with a 49-40 win over West Delaware on senior night in Solon on Tuesday.

Brianna Smith and Taylor Ryan each had 12 points as Solon improved to 6-13 on the season and 2-10 in WAMAC East play.

Gabby Marty had six points, eight rebounds and four steals while Smith had four rebounds and three assists for the Spartans.

West Delaware dropped to 5-12 on the season and had a three-game winning streak snapped with the loss.
