Four players scored in double figures led by Ashley Joens with 25 points as Class 5A No. 1 City High improved to 8-0 on the season with an 89-44 win over Cedar Rapids Jefferson on Tuesday in Cedar Rapids.
Rose Nkumu had 19 points and Paige Rocca added 16 as City High put up a season-high point total.
Freshman Ella Cook chipped in with 11 points as 10 different Little Hawks scored in the win.
Erica Oler had 11 points to lead Cedar Rapids Jefferson (3-7).

Big Fourth Quarter Helps West High Surge Past Prairie
Class 5A third-ranked West High scored 24 points in the fourth quarter to rally past No. 13 Cedar Rapids Prairie 75-71 on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference contest in Cedar Rapids.
Cailyn Morgan scored 21 points to lead three West High players in double figures as the Women of Troy improved to 6-2.
West High trailed 54-51 entering the fourth quarter but outscored the Hawks 24-17 over the final eight minutes.
Logan Cook had 18 points and Lauren Zacharias had 16 as West High scored a season-high 75 points.
Sarah Schmitt had 22 points, Sidney McCrea had 19 and Mallory McDermott 17 for Prairie (5-4).

West Branch Runs Win Streak to Three
West Branch closed 2017 with a flurry.
The Bears closed the 2017 portion of its schedule with three consecutive wins after downing Mid-Prairie 54-50 on Tuesday in a River Valley Conference South Division contest.
West Branch won at West Liberty on Saturday, upset Class 3A No. 8 Camanche on Monday and improved to 6-4 on the season and 5-4 in RVC play with its win over Mid-Prairie (6-2, 6-2 RVC).
Tatum Koenig had 22 points, seven rebounds, seven steals and four assists to lead West Branch.
Freshman guards Taya Young and Sasha Koenig each had 14 points and combined for seven rebounds.
Addie Rath had 20 points and eight rebounds to lead Mid-Prairie.

Stratton Leads Clear Creek Amana Past Williamsburg
Following an 0-3 start Clear Creek Amana will enter 2018 riding a three-game winning streak.
Karsyn Stratton scored 30 points as Clear Creek Amana ran its winning streak to three with a 49-29 win over Williamsburg on Tuesday in a WAMAC West Division matchup in Williamsburg.
Clear Creek Amana evened its record at 4-4 with the win and moved to 4-1 in WAMAC West play.
Williamsburg dropped to 2-8 and 2-3 in WAMAC West Play.
Big Second Half Leads Cascade Past Regina
Class 2A Eighth-ranked Cascade outscored sixth-ranked Regina by 20 points in the second half of a 51-39 win in a River Valley Conference top-ten showdown in Cascade.
Cascade erased an eight-point halftime deficit with a 33-point second half while improving to 9-2 on the season and 8-0 in RVC play.
Regina had a five-game winning streak snapped with the loss and moved to 6-3 on the season and 6-2 in RVC play.
