Williams Headlines Area WAMAC All-Division Selections

Shauntina Williams put up numbers this season that rank among the best in the WAMAC Conference.
On Thursday the Clear Creek Amana junior got the recognition to back up those stats.
Williams was a named to the WAMAC West Division first team when the league announced its postseason honors on Thursday.
The 5-foot-10 Williams was a unanimous first-team pick after posting 338 kills during the regular season, third most among WAMAC players.
Williams also had a team-high 56 blocks and was second on the team with 23 ace serves.
Williams headlines four Clippers to earn all-division recognition as junior Jordan Neely was a second-team pick in the West Division while freshman Hailey Pollock and Lauren Riggle were both honorable mention selections.
Neely led the Clippers with 552 digs, ranking third in the conference in digs per set at 5.3.
Pollock finished second on the team with 121 kills and 47 blocks while Riggle had 68 kills and was second on the team with 215 digs.
Solon had a pair of second-team selections in the East Division in senior Grace Keith and junior Rachael Nelson.
Keith led Solon with 231 kills and was second on the team with 263 digs.
Nelson had a team-high 447 assists, added 140 kills, 38 blocks and 22 ace serves for the Spartans.
Juniors Abby Smith and Taylor Moore were both honorable mention picks for Solon.
Smith was third on the team with 140 kills and had 28 ace serves and 193 digs while Moore led the Spartans with 419 digs and 39 ace serves.
