Clear Creek Amana swept Grinnell 25-12, 25-16, 25-14 on Wednesday in the Class 4A, Region 6 quarterfinals in Tiffin.

Shauntina Williams had 12 kills and Karsyn Stratton had seven as Clear Creek Amana advanced to face No. 7 Center Point-Urbana (31-10) in the Region 6 semifinals on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Jane Willms had five kills and Hailey Pollock added four for the Clippers.

Zoe Boehme had 19 assists, Cheyaenne Bunch had 13 assists while Jordan Neely had 22 digs for Clear Creek Amana (23-19).

Lauren Riggle had 11 digs for the Clippers.

Solon Falls to West Liberty

West Liberty defeated Solon 25-15, 23-25, 25-27, 25-23, 15-10 in a Class 3A, Region 7 quarterfinal on Wednesday in West Liberty.

The Spartans closed the season at 15-21 while West Liberty improved to 22-13 and advanced to face No. 7 Davenport Assumption in the Region 7 semifinals on Tuesday.
