Clear Creek Amana won three straight matches to win the consolation bracket at the WAMAC tournament on Thursday at Marion.
The Clippers defeated South Tama 25-9, 25-22 in the consolation quarterfinals and downed Williamsburg 25-23, 25-18 in the semifinals before sweeping Benton Community 25-23, 25-16 in the consolation title match.
Clear Creek Amana improved to 22-19 on the season and finished 3-3 at the two-day WAMAC tournament after going 0-3 in pool play on Tuesday.
Shauntina Williams had eight kills in the win over South Tama while Cheyaenne Bunch had 11 assists and four ace serves in the win.
Hailey Pollock and Amelia Pereria each had three kills while Zoe Boehme had nine assists.
Lauren Riggle had a team-high 14 digs and Jordan Neely had 12 digs.
In the semifinal win over Williamsburg Williams had nine kills, Pollock had four and Pereria had three.
Boehme had 13 assists and Bunch had seven assists while Neely led with 11 digs.
Williams had 10 kills, Pollock had five and Karsyn Stratton had four in the title game win over Benton Community.
Boehme had 14 assists and Bunch had 10 while Neely had 17 digs and Carsyn Gallagher had eight.
Solon Goes 0-2
Solon lost a pair of games at the WAMAC Tournament on Thursday falling to Western Dubuque 25-16, 23-25, 15-11 in the championship quarterfinals and then dropping a 25-22, 28-26 decision to West Delaware.
The Spartans closed the regular season 15-20.
