Colby Greene had 13 kills and six blocks to lead Class 5A ninth-ranked West High to a 25-19, 25-20, 25-16 win over Waterloo East on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division match in Waterloo.

Cailyn Morgan had eight kills and Claire Overton added seven as West High improved to 17-10 on the season.

Rylee Fay led West High with 28 assists and 12 digs and added three kills while Maddie Laffey had four kills and Keimoney Lang had 10 digs.

Williams Leads CCA Past Williamsburg

Clear Creek Amana defeated Williamsburg 26-24, 21-25, 25-11, 25-10 in a WAMAC West matchup in Williamsburg on Tuesday.

Shauntina Williams had 16 kills and Amelia Pereria added eight kills and three ace serves as Clear Creek Amana improved to 15-14 on the season and 3-3 in WAMAC West play.

Karsyn Stratton had five kills while Zoe Boehme had 20 assists and Cheyaenne Bunch had 15 kills.

Jordan Neely had a team-high 43 digs while Lauren Riggle added 19 digs and Carsyn Gallagher had 11 digs for the Clippers.

City High Falls at No. 1 Cedar Falls

Class 5A top-ranked Cedar Falls defeated City High 25-9, 25-12, 25-11 on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Division match in Cedar Falls.

Kelsey Law led City High with nine kills and Mackenzie Murphy had four kills as City High dropped to 9-12 on the season and 2-3 in Valley Division play.

Lindsey Bolton had 18 assists for the Little Hawks.

Akacia Brown and Grace Burken each had six kills to lead Cedar Falls.

Durant Sweeps West Branch

Durant swept West Branch 26-24, 25-20, 25-13 in a River Valley Conference South Division match on Tuesday in West Branch

Abbey Fryauf led West Branch with 11 kills while Kaiya Luneckas added five kills as the Bears dropped to 7-14.

Riley Vaughan had 11 assists and Sophie Nopoulos had 10 while Courtney Jarrett had a team-high 12 digs.
